Based in Poland and Lithuania, Benas is a cinematographer and graduate of the Warsaw Film School.
His most recent works as a director of photography include two short films, Prisivažinėjom (dir. Tauras Žakevičius) and Vagis (dir. Augustas Buzėnas). He also recently shot and directed a short documentary film, Outcast.
Additionally, Benas shoots music videos, most recently for upcoming Lithuanian artists Inara, Yardy and Atoner, as well as commercials for the Lithuanian Ethnographic Museum.
As an assistant, he worked on the Swedish TV series Cry Wolf (dir. Jesper Ganslandt), which premiered at the Stockholm International Film Festival in 2024, and Evil (dir. Erik Leijonborg) in 2021, which was screened at the Way Out West festival in Sweden and the Festival de la Fiction in France.
